Leadership Development

Lead yourself. Inspire others. Strengthen your organization.

Leadership isn’t a title. It’s how we show up. My work supports leaders and teams to grow their self-awareness, expand their influence, and lead with greater clarity, confidence, and purpose. Whether you're an executive seeking a trusted thought partner, a team looking to increase alignment and collaboration, or an emerging leader preparing for bigger responsibilities, I help you move from insight to action.

How We Work Together

Ready to elevate your leadership? One-on-one coaching is a proven catalyst for transformational change — long used by high-performing leaders to sharpen focus, navigate complexity, and unlock their full potential.

Leadership starts with leadership of self, and coaching provides a safe, confidential, and professional space to gain critical self-awareness and self-knowledge. You’ll have the opportunity to reflect, gain new insights and perspectives, explore new possibilities, receive candid feedback, be held accountable, and chart your own path forward. Through this process, you will unlock and expand your potential while creating positive results for your organization, your people, and yourself.

As part of the coaching process, we set clear, measurable goals upfront and maintain a strong focus on achieving meaningful, lasting results.

1:1 Executive & Leadership Coaching

My coaching approach balances your unique agenda with a structured focus on leadership growth. It is grounded in the belief that effective leadership is built on a foundation of:

  • Self-awareness — understanding how you show up and how you’re experienced by others

  • Purpose & vision — knowing what matters most and where you’re headed

  • Mental fitness — building the inner strength to respond rather than react, especially under pressure

I act as your confidential thought partner, asking powerful questions, providing honest and constructive feedback, and making direct requests to support your growth. I encourage a collaborative process that holds you accountable while respecting your autonomy and leadership style.

I work with senior leaders, emerging executives, and high-potential talent — including those with strong technical backgrounds — who are ready to deepen their impact and expand their influence. Sessions are tailored to your goals and supported by practical tools, honest conversation, and real-world leadership experience.

Whether you're a senior leader navigating a new challenge or a team looking to strengthen connection and performance, coaching creates space for powerful growth. It’s a thought-provoking, results-oriented process that builds awareness, clarity, and momentum. Through honest conversations and structured support, coaching unlocks insight, sharpens focus, and helps you move forward with purpose. It’s not just about achieving goals—it’s about growing into the leader or team you’re truly capable of being.

Leadership Peer Groups for Senior Leaders

Real conversations. Fresh perspective. Accelerated growth.

I facilitate Leadership Peer Groups in partnership with my colleagues at High Impact, specifically designed for senior leaders navigating the complexity of leading large teams, divisions, or functions.

These groups bring together up to twelve senior leaders from diverse organizations and industries — carefully curated to ensure non-competing roles and a wide range of perspectives. Each member operates at a similar level of responsibility and is committed to leadership excellence and ongoing growth.

At the core of the experience are six half-day, in-person workshops, held every 6–7 weeks and hosted by members at their offices across the Lower Mainland. In each session, members bring their most pressing business issues, leadership challenges, and strategic opportunities for discussion. Through real-time coaching and peer dialogue, leaders gain timely insights they can apply immediately.

Throughout the year, members also:

  • Set clear development goals that guide the group’s learning and shape expert content

  • Participate in an annual full-day conference with other High Impact Peer Groups, featuring keynotes, panels, workshops, and networking opportunities

  • Access four drop-in coaching sessions with their Peer Group Chair to get support between workshops

"Peer groups provide a powerful blend of accountability and support. They offer leaders a space to think bigger, act bolder, and grow faster."
Harvard Business Review

These groups are designed for senior leaders who are ready to think more strategically, broaden their influence, and learn how others are solving similar challenges in different environments.

Ideal for:

  • Senior leaders reporting to the executive team

  • Leaders of large teams, functions, or business units

  • High-potential individuals preparing for future executive roles

  • Curious, reflective leaders who value shared learning and accountability

This is a confidential, high-trust space — where you can be real, get feedback, and grow faster by learning alongside other exceptional leaders.

My boss (and my wife!) have already noticed a difference. I'm more patient with my responses.

Positive Intelligence (PQ) Program

Build the mental fitness to lead with clarity, resilience, and impact.

The Positive Intelligence (PQ) Program is a practical, neuroscience-based approach to developing mental fitness — your ability to stay grounded, focused, and effective in the face of pressure, uncertainty, and change.

Mental fitness is the ability to notice and shift away from self-sabotaging and self-protective behaviours — like avoidance, control, perfectionism, and overthinking — and instead respond from a place of clarity, empathy, and wise action.

Used for decades in elite sport, mental fitness is now recognized as a critical foundation for emotional intelligence (EQ). Research from the Positive Intelligence (PQ) Program shows that strengthening mental fitness significantly enhances 17 of the 18 core EQ competencies—making it a powerful differentiator for effective leadership.

The PQ Program helps you identify your internal "Saboteurs" — the automatic patterns that undermine your performance and wellbeing — and strengthen your "Sage" perspective, where creativity, curiosity, and calm decision-making live. Through daily practice, weekly content, and real-world application, you’ll build greater resilience, influence, and presence in every aspect of your leadership.

I offer the PQ Program in three formats:

  • For individuals, integrated into one-on-one coaching

  • For groups, such as peer cohorts or emerging leader programs

  • For intact teams, to develop shared language, psychological agility, and collective resilience

Team Coaching

Effective teams don’t just happen — they’re intentionally built and continually developed. My team coaching helps groups deepen trust, improve communication, and align around shared goals to achieve breakthrough performance.

We begin with a thorough understanding of both individual and collective dynamics, using assessments such as Leadership Circle 360, Insights Discovery, and the Positive Intelligence Saboteur Assessment. These tools provide a clear picture of strengths, blind spots, and potential areas for growth, forming a foundation for tailored interventions.

Team coaching can include a blend of approaches depending on your unique needs and culture. This may involve targeted training and education sessions — such as Insights Discovery workshops or the Positive Intelligence program — that increase self-awareness and mental fitness across the team.

Additionally, I often incorporate proven frameworks like Patrick Lencioni’s Five Dysfunctions of a Team to diagnose barriers to cohesion and guide development. However, the approach is highly organic and adaptive, balancing structure with responsiveness to the team’s evolving challenges and opportunities.

Whether your team is newly formed, facing complex change, or seeking to elevate collaboration and accountability, team coaching supports meaningful alignment, healthier conflict, and stronger collective leadership.
